The Lawrence Music Alliance (LMA) is pleased to announce March as Music Business Month, a citywide initiative dedicated to empowering local musicians, industry professionals, and creatives with the tools and connections they need to thrive. 

The Lawrence Music Census is a community-led initiative to gain a better understanding of the current music needs of the Lawrence, Kansas, community. This marks the first time that the music community will have new data from which to develop policy solutions and approaches.

Empowering musicians through collaborative programs and conversations, MXM2024 offers panels, workshops and networking opportunities accessible to all through this independently-organized conference event.

Lawrence Music Alliance with the Heartland Song Network and with support from the Doug DuBois Harmony presented a Private Showcase Room spotlighting artists from Lawrence and Douglas County, KS at the Folk Alliance International Conference, Feb 21-25, 2024.
